Shelter Puppy. In need of a home!

Health History

Beau arrived underweight, and his intake examination led to a veterinary feeding plan with regular weight checks; his appetite and body condition are improving. Vaccinations and deworming are current for his age, parasite screening is complete, and his microchip is in place. He continues parasite prevention and needs scheduled boosters and testing, growth and joint checks, individualized neuter planning, and microchip registration transfer.

Shelter Pup Story

A utility worker noticed Beau’s bowl had been empty on three successive visits and called for help; rescuers found him tethered behind a locked property, still greeting them with hopeful tail wags. Regular meals are helping him regain weight, but a canceled food sponsorship and an intake surge now put him at high risk of being euthanized. He deserves a chance to live. With a small deposit, take your first step toward giving Beau, who is facing euthanization, a second chance at life.

PupPath Helps Save Pups The Right Way...

PupPath Mission

I was also once looking for a dog

I wasn't just looking for an Otterhound puppy. I wanted to save one. I dreamed of giving him a warm home, a loving family, and the second chance he deserved. But I had no idea where to start. I spent countless hours searching hundreds of listings, calling shelters, and contacting breeders. Nothing. Not a single Otterhound pup.

Frustrated, I gave up searching for a while. Weeks later, I came across a post about an Otterhound puppy desperately needing a home. This was him. The puppy I'd been searching for. I rushed to the shelter, only to hear words I'll never forget. "I'm sorry. He's already been euthanized." My heart sank.

He could have had a home, a family, and a lifetime of love. If only I'd found him sooner. That's when I realized countless other dogs were facing the same heartbreaking possibility. I couldn't save him. But maybe I could help save others. That's why I created PupPath.

Cane Corso Puppy Stories

Beau — Cane Corso

Once a man collapsed on a secluded trail, his Cane Corso pup ran toward the distant voices of other walkers. It barked, circled, and repeatedly looked back until they followed it to its owner, who was lying hidden beside the path, unable to call for help. Rescuers reached him in time, and when he finally woke up in the hospital, his first question was whether his dog was safe. At their reunion, the Cane Corso pup rested its head in his hands, and through tears the man whispered, “You went looking for help when I couldn’t even ask.” The Cane Corso pup is ready to protect you but it needs your protection first.

Beau — Cane Corso

Within days of coming home, a Cane Corso puppy had become his owner’s constant companion and the children’s inseparable playmate. Whenever an argument grew loud, he would appear with his favorite toy, nudging a hand until someone paused to look at him. Those gentle interruptions became the family’s reminder to soften their voices, sit together, and listen instead of speaking over each other. One evening, watching his children cuddle beside their new Cane Corso friend, their father whispered, “You’ve only just arrived, and you’re already helping us take better care of each other.” The Cane Corso Puppy is ready to take care of you, but it needs you to take care of it first.

Beau — Cane Corso

After an accident left his owner struggling to walk, a Cane Corso puppy began matching every slow step, pausing whenever the man needed to rest. Throughout the long recovery, it waited beside his owner’s chair and followed him from room to room, settling wherever they could remain close. When the children called the pup outside, it enjoyed their games, then hurried back to check on the person resting indoors. On the day they finally reached their old walking spot again, his owner sat down and held the Cane Corso pup, overwhelmed by the friend who had made every difficult step feel less lonely. A Cane Corso pup is waiting for you.
