Health History

Parental hip, specialist eye and recommended DNA screening should be reviewed alongside, but separately from, his puppy examination. His routine checkups, deworming and vaccinations due by 13 weeks have been completed; verify the records, with puppy vaccines usually starting at 6–8 weeks. Expect an adult range of 45–60 pounds and 21–23½ inches at the shoulder, with a 12–14-year lifespan. He still needs remaining puppy vaccines through at least 16 weeks, locally required rabies vaccination, parasite prevention, regular brushing and age-appropriate exercise.
