Health History

She has plenty of growing ahead, with females typically reaching 120–170 pounds and at least 27½ inches at the shoulder, with a usual lifespan of 6–10 years. Her veterinary examinations, deworming, and vaccinations due through twelve weeks are current, following her first puppy shots around 6–8 weeks. Her breeder should share her parents’ recommended hip, elbow, kneecap, heart, eye, thyroid, and genetic screening results. Next, her vet should continue combination vaccines every 2–4 weeks through at least sixteen weeks, complete her two-dose leptospirosis series, and confirm her rabies schedule and ongoing parasite prevention.

Their Story

Her breeder’s daughter has made a little booklet for her future family: the brush she likes, her favorite toy, and the spot behind her ears that makes her close her eyes. It sits beside her paperwork, waiting for someone to take it home. She remains with her breeder while the adults ask shelters and rescues for placement help, carefully checking euthanization policies before considering any handover. Last night, the girl added another page after brushing her coat. Then she asked whether she should keep writing, because the puppy was growing and there was still nobody to give the booklet to. She is waiting for a second chance before euthanization. Your small deposit opens the path to saving her and bringing them home.

Pup Personality

At twelve weeks, she likes to investigate a familiar garden, following interesting smells and proudly returning with the occasional leaf. She’s confident enough to entertain herself, enjoys short training games, and is learning to come when called in quiet surroundings. Brushing brings out her softer side: she leans into each gentle stroke before stretching out for a rest.

PupPath Mission

I was also once looking for a dog

I wasn't just looking for an Otterhound puppy. I wanted to save one. I dreamed of giving him a warm home, a loving family, and the second chance he deserved. But I had no idea where to start. I spent countless hours searching hundreds of listings, calling shelters, and contacting breeders. Nothing. Not a single Otterhound pup.

Frustrated, I gave up searching for a while. Weeks later, I came across a post about an Otterhound puppy desperately needing a home. This was him. The puppy I'd been searching for. I rushed to the shelter, only to hear words I'll never forget. "I'm sorry. He's already been euthanized." My heart sank.

He could have had a home, a family, and a lifetime of love. If only I'd found him sooner. That's when I realized countless other dogs were facing the same heartbreaking possibility. I couldn't save him. But maybe I could help save others. That's why I created PupPath.

Mastiff Puppy Stories

Female Unnamed Pup — Mastiff

Once a man collapsed on a secluded trail, his Mastiff pup ran toward the distant voices of other walkers. It barked, circled, and repeatedly looked back until they followed it to its owner, who was lying hidden beside the path, unable to call for help. Rescuers reached him in time, and when he finally woke up in the hospital, his first question was whether his dog was safe. At their reunion, the Mastiff pup rested its head in his hands, and through tears the man whispered, “You went looking for help when I couldn’t even ask.” The Mastiff pup is ready to protect you but it needs your protection first.

Female Unnamed Pup — Mastiff

Within days of coming home, a Mastiff puppy had become his owner’s constant companion and the children’s inseparable playmate. Whenever an argument grew loud, he would appear with his favorite toy, nudging a hand until someone paused to look at him. Those gentle interruptions became the family’s reminder to soften their voices, sit together, and listen instead of speaking over each other. One evening, watching his children cuddle beside their new Mastiff friend, their father whispered, “You’ve only just arrived, and you’re already helping us take better care of each other.” The Mastiff Puppy is ready to take care of you, but it needs you to take care of it first.

Female Unnamed Pup — Mastiff

After an accident left his owner struggling to walk, a Mastiff puppy began matching every slow step, pausing whenever the man needed to rest. Throughout the long recovery, it waited beside his owner’s chair and followed him from room to room, settling wherever they could remain close. When the children called the pup outside, it enjoyed their games, then hurried back to check on the person resting indoors. On the day they finally reached their old walking spot again, his owner sat down and held the Mastiff pup, overwhelmed by the friend who had made every difficult step feel less lonely. A Mastiff pup is waiting for you.
