Their Story

Every supper begins with the same little performance: he races to his bowl, remembers his manners and sits with his tail brushing the floor. His breeder always answers with a soft 'good boy' before setting down the meal. But the space keeping him there is running out, and a shelter may be the next place his bowl is filled. He has no idea that the voice he listens for could soon be missing from the simplest part of his day. With a small deposit, secure your path to meeting him, helping give him a brighter future, and bringing your new best friend home.

Pup Personality

At 14 weeks old, he has turned mealtime into a little ritual: two eager steps toward his bowl, followed by a sit to ask politely. His patience is still developing, so an extra paw shuffle sometimes sneaks in while he waits for the bowl to reach the floor.

PupPath Mission

I was also once looking for a dog

I wasn't just looking for an Otterhound puppy. I wanted to save one. I dreamed of giving him a warm home, a loving family, and the second chance he deserved. But I had no idea where to start. I spent countless hours searching hundreds of listings, calling shelters, and contacting breeders. Nothing. Not a single Otterhound pup.

Frustrated, I gave up searching for a while. Weeks later, I came across a post about an Otterhound puppy desperately needing a home. This was him. The puppy I'd been searching for. I rushed to the shelter, only to hear words I'll never forget. "I'm sorry. He's already been euthanized." My heart sank.

He could have had a home, a family, and a lifetime of love. If only I'd found him sooner. That's when I realized countless other dogs were facing the same heartbreaking possibility. I couldn't save him. But maybe I could help save others. That's why I created PupPath.

Havanese Puppy Stories

Male Unnamed Pup — Havanese

Once a man collapsed on a secluded trail, his Havanese pup ran toward the distant voices of other walkers. It barked, circled, and repeatedly looked back until they followed it to its owner, who was lying hidden beside the path, unable to call for help. Rescuers reached him in time, and when he finally woke up in the hospital, his first question was whether his dog was safe. At their reunion, the Havanese pup rested its head in his hands, and through tears the man whispered, “You went looking for help when I couldn’t even ask.” The Havanese pup is ready to protect you but it needs your protection first.

Within days of coming home, a Havanese puppy had become his owner’s constant companion and the children’s inseparable playmate. Whenever an argument grew loud, he would appear with his favorite toy, nudging a hand until someone paused to look at him. Those gentle interruptions became the family’s reminder to soften their voices, sit together, and listen instead of speaking over each other. One evening, watching his children cuddle beside their new Havanese friend, their father whispered, “You’ve only just arrived, and you’re already helping us take better care of each other.” The Havanese Puppy is ready to take care of you, but it needs you to take care of it first.

Male Unnamed Pup — Havanese

After an accident left his owner struggling to walk, a Havanese puppy began matching every slow step, pausing whenever the man needed to rest. Throughout the long recovery, it waited beside his owner’s chair and followed him from room to room, settling wherever they could remain close. When the children called the pup outside, it enjoyed their games, then hurried back to check on the person resting indoors. On the day they finally reached their old walking spot again, his owner sat down and held the Havanese pup, overwhelmed by the friend who had made every difficult step feel less lonely. A Havanese pup is waiting for you.
