Her early veterinary visits, deworming, and vaccinations due through eleven weeks are complete, with puppy shots begun around 6–8 weeks. Her breeder should provide a specialist eye-examination report and recommended CEA, PRA, DMS, and MDR1 screening information, including her own medication-sensitivity status for her vet. Over the coming weeks, her vet should continue combination vaccines every 2–4 weeks through at least sixteen weeks, begin her two-dose leptospirosis series from twelve weeks, and arrange rabies vaccination and ongoing parasite prevention. Her expected adult size is around 50–65 pounds and 22–24 inches at the shoulder, with a typical lifespan of 12–14 years.

Their Story

Her breeder took a book into the garden, expecting a quiet reading break. She arrived with a toy, set it carefully on the open page, and sat down to wait. When nothing happened, she nudged it closer and offered a hopeful play bow. The book went aside, and the next few minutes filled with gentle tug games, little trots across the grass, and a puppy delighted with her success. Later, her breeder found the toy tucked into the reading chair again. Apparently, she had already made plans for their next afternoon together. Pup Personality

She makes friends with a little play bow, then waits to see whether you’ll join her. At eleven weeks, she’s gently persistent, quick to learn a toy swap, and happiest when a game involves a familiar person. She also has an easygoing side, content to stretch out with a chew while keeping an eye on the room.

PupPath Mission

I was also once looking for a dog

I wasn't just looking for an Otterhound puppy. I wanted to save one. I dreamed of giving him a warm home, a loving family, and the second chance he deserved. But I had no idea where to start. I spent countless hours searching hundreds of listings, calling shelters, and contacting breeders. Nothing. Not a single Otterhound pup.

Frustrated, I gave up searching for a while. Weeks later, I came across a post about an Otterhound puppy desperately needing a home. This was him. The puppy I'd been searching for. I rushed to the shelter, only to hear words I'll never forget. "I'm sorry. He's already been euthanized." My heart sank.

He could have had a home, a family, and a lifetime of love. If only I'd found him sooner. That's when I realized countless other dogs were facing the same heartbreaking possibility. I couldn't save him. But maybe I could help save others. That's why I created PupPath.

Collie Puppy Stories

Female Unnamed Pup — Collie

Once a man collapsed on a secluded trail, his Collie pup ran toward the distant voices of other walkers. It barked, circled, and repeatedly looked back until they followed it to its owner, who was lying hidden beside the path, unable to call for help. Rescuers reached him in time, and when he finally woke up in the hospital, his first question was whether his dog was safe. At their reunion, the Collie pup rested its head in his hands, and through tears the man whispered, “You went looking for help when I couldn’t even ask.” The Collie pup is ready to protect you but it needs your protection first.

Female Unnamed Pup — Collie

Within days of coming home, a Collie puppy had become his owner’s constant companion and the children’s inseparable playmate. Whenever an argument grew loud, he would appear with his favorite toy, nudging a hand until someone paused to look at him. Those gentle interruptions became the family’s reminder to soften their voices, sit together, and listen instead of speaking over each other. One evening, watching his children cuddle beside their new Collie friend, their father whispered, “You’ve only just arrived, and you’re already helping us take better care of each other.” The Collie Puppy is ready to take care of you, but it needs you to take care of it first.

Female Unnamed Pup — Collie

After an accident left his owner struggling to walk, a Collie puppy began matching every slow step, pausing whenever the man needed to rest. Throughout the long recovery, it waited beside his owner’s chair and followed him from room to room, settling wherever they could remain close. When the children called the pup outside, it enjoyed their games, then hurried back to check on the person resting indoors. On the day they finally reached their old walking spot again, his owner sat down and held the Collie pup, overwhelmed by the friend who had made every difficult step feel less lonely. A Collie pup is waiting for you.
